Shock Therapy
I was a classicaly-trained violinist all my life, but I took up guitar in high school. In the process, I fell in love with the music of Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, John McLaughlin, and other great guitarists. When I chose to focus more on the violin in college, I still kept the guitarist in my head. This song shows why I feel like a guitarist trapped in a violinist's body. the groove and melody came to me in the shower (where all great songs are born), and it was recorded live in one take.
